Health Insurance
Local 369 is a participating union of the Culinary Health Fund, which is the best health plan in Nevada providing medical, dental, pharmacy, and eye care benefits to nearly 55,000 participants and their 70,000 dependents. The Fund also operates two health centers in the Las Vegas Valley in addition to health classes such as breastfeeding, diabetes, healthy cooking, managing high blood pressure and more. Pension Plan

Emergency Relief Funds
Local 369 provides an Emergency Relief Fund to help our members who are going through financial challenges and find themselves in need of assistance.
Music Performance Trust Fund
The Music Performance Trust Fund (MPTF) brings free, live, professional music programs to communities through a variety of means including large-scale festivals and park concerts. The Fund provides grants to our members to present these live musical performances and programs, alongside a co-sponsor or presenter. *Local 369 and The Library District have collaborated to establish The Library Concert Series, aiming to offer complimentary community concerts and events throughout Southern Nevada all year long. Participating members of Local 369 engage in these events and receive compensation as employed musicians.
Restaurant Discounts
Local 369 members get discounts at select restaurants in the Las Vegas Valley. Members must show their membership card with active sticker at each establishment. Current participating restaurants include: Goong Korean BBQ, Doma The Korean BBQ, The Sparklings, OYSHI Sushi (Rainbow), OYSHI Sushi (Sahara), Soyo Korean Restaurant.
Legislative Representation
The AFM defends and protects your interests on the national level by advocating for benefit protections and workers’ rights.
Residual Payments & Royalties
The Phonograph Record Manufacturer’s Special Payments Fund, and the Theatrical and Television Motion Picture Special Payments Fund were established in order to provide recording musicians with additional revenue based on the sales of recordings and films beyond the time of the initial recording sessions. The AFM actively monitors and collects payments & royalties for its members. If you’ve worked in the recording industry, be sure your contact information is up to date with the appropriate recording funds.
UNLV Recording Studio
Union Members studio rate at UNLV Recording studio: $60 per hour, bulk rate (4 hours or more $50 per hour) includes engineer. If a Group, the majority of the group must be union members.
Gill Kaupp will offer union members preferred rates for audio mastering. Rates will be given upon review of the materials.
